This seasonal position requires someone with a personal commitment to working safely and adhering to the company’s health and safety policies and procedures. The applicant must be capable of working a schedule of 12 consecutive days on and 2 days off, approximately 60 hours per week.WCL is currently looking to fill the following positions:Excavator:

• Cut to finish grade.
• Load various types of trucks.

Dozer:

• Cut to finish grade.
• GPS experience is an asset.

Grader:

• Cut to finish grade.
• GPS experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, lubricate, and perform other minor maintenance work.
• Complete daily equipment pre-trips and logs required for safety and service schedules.
• Complete all necessary daily paperwork. This may include, but is not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, hours of service, etc.

Requirements:

• Class 5 driver #39;s license.
• 3 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
• Knowledge of truck and equipment safety.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
