Job Description

About usModu Club is the largest racquet sport center in Canada with courts available for badminton, pickleball, and table tennis. We incorporated the Korean word Modu , meaning everyone , hoping to allow people of all ages to enjoy racquet sports, no matter the season.We are looking for a Front Desk Team Member to handle the general reception and administrative duties of our new office. As a Front Desk Team Member, your job is to create a welcoming environment for the organization, athletes, parents, and visitors. A friendly, professional receptionist is an important part of our organization, so we are seeking someone who can keep our office running smoothly through high volume situations.Responsibilities:

  • Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, responding to emails, directing visitors, and taking messages for employees.
  • Maintains a clean and organized front desk, surrounding area, and Pro Shop.
  • Schedules and maintains the calendar of coaches, athletes, and guests.
  • Enters orders for Stringing Services and contact customers when ready for pickup.
  • Answers questions about the Pro Shop and processes Pro Shop transactions.
  • Takes customer complaints or issues and pass them on to the appropriate parties.
  • Provides support for other employees when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Time management skills to be able to prioritize activities, especially when there is a high volume of tasks.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that company memos are free of any errors.
  • Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the facility or over the phone.
  • Communication skills to be able to work well with other team members or clients and understand their needs.
  • Strong organizational skills to keep multiple calendars in order.
  • Administrative skills to be able to use basic computer programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change.
Wage: starts at $15.50 and is negotiable depending on experience.Benefits:
