Job Description

The companyArjae Design Solutions Ltd. is a fast growing Engineering, Design and Fabrication company providing unique solutions to clients in the energy industry. We are a manufacturer of pressure vessels, Direct fired heaters, Indirect fired heater coils, pressure piping and fittings for the oil & gas industry.About the RoleWe are currently looking for General Labourers to join our team in the fabrication of pressure vessels and process piping at our Nisku fabrication facility. We are looking for self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who can also work independently, and are focused on safety. Arjae Design Solutions Ltd. offers a competitive compensation package, including group benefits plan.Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Welders, Pipefitters, and other occupations in vessel, process piping manufacturing and assembly
  • Perform a wide range of physically challenging duties for prolonged periods in the fabrication of oil & gas equipment and facilities
  • Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment, including grinders and other hand tools
  • Assist in performing hydro tests
  • Operate forklift and loader
  • Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship with focus on quality and accuracy
  • Work safely and maintaining safety in facility; Follow and support safety program
  • Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Previous labour experience in a fabrication shop or similar industrial environment preferred
  • Ability to perform physically challenging work for prolonged periods in an industrial shop environment required, with occasional work outdoors
  • Previous experience in safely operating a variety of hand tools and shop equipment preferred (grinders, small hand tools, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Ability to operate forklift and loaders an asset
  • Strong verbal communication skills; Ability to read, interpret and comprehend written materials
  • Safety-oriented; Valid First Aid ticket and other HSE-related tickets an asset
