Job Description

WERE HIRING! We’re looking for a motivated consultant to join our fast-paced and growing health & safety team!

  • Conduct organization/site visits and audits
  • Conduct training on an as-needed basis
  • Provide customized gap analyses for employer health and safety programs to identify areas for improvement
  • Assess and evaluate work procedures and environments to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations to eliminate them or ensure that adequate controls measures are in place
  • Support incident investigation processes and provide recommendations to address incident root causes where necessary
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in occupational health and safety
  • Must have experience conducting COR/SECOR safety audits in Alberta
  • Excellent working knowledge of provincial Health and Safety Regulations and a willingness to keep up with new developments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire and ability to work independently
NOTE: Experience in forestry, construction, and trucking sectors (NSC Compliance) will be considered an asset to this position.Please send your resume if you believe you are the right person for our team.
