ATLAS Oil & Gas Process Systems Inc. designs and manufactures pressure vessels and process piping systems for the oil and gas industry.We are currently recruiting for the position of Health and Safety Coordinator for our manufacturing facility located in Nisku, Alberta.Primary focus:The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for the administration, evaluation, monitoring, and record keeping of the Health and Safety Management System, as well as the Equipment and Building Maintenance Program in accordance with Company Policy, Alberta OHS requirements and industry standards.Duties and Responsibilities:· Provide health and safety program support to supervisors and employees· Maintain health, safety, and maintenance records, respecting confidential files· Coordinate, participate in and work alongside, the Company Health and Safety Committee· Review, maintain and ongoing development of Company safety policies and procedures as per OHS and industry standards· Create and review formal hazard assessments, safe work practices, and safe job procedures in collaboration with area supervisors· Complete inspections of the plant, yard, and emergency equipment as per company policy· Conduct incident investigations, as part of an incident investigation team to determine root cause and identify corrective actions· WCB tracking, reporting, return to work and ongoing case management· Schedule and log equipment preventative maintenance for building systems, power mobile equipment, etc.· Conduct in-house training programs including WHMIS· Monitor training matrix and identify/ arrange employee training requirements· Conduct health and safety orientations for employees and contractors· Conduct internal and external COR audits· Maintain online information management systems (ISNet World)· Responsible for all safety related administrative duties including maintenance and documentation of Safety program statistics, trends, and analysisQualifications:· In depth knowledge of Alberta OHS act, regulation, and code· HSA or NCSO designation, ACSA auditor designation· Minimum three years work experience in a manufacturing environment· First aid certification, certified fit tester,· Proficient in Microsoft Office· Demonstrated professional, policy and documentation writing skills· An active listener with a positive approachJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
