Job Description

Helper – Wash PlantSummary:This position involves a variety of roles including the safe operation of Wash Plant equipment required to wash and sterilize access matting. When washing mats, we will operate up to 12 hours per shift and may require night shift depending on work load. When not washing mats we will perform maintenance, cleaning of wash plant, other general tasks, normally at 8 hours a day. Our yard is in Nisku, AB, this is our primary work location. Based on our client’s requirements we may move the wash plant to the most logical location available to operate the wash plant. This position may have to travel out of town to wash mats as required, when working out of town accommodations, subsistence, and company vehicle will be provided.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for washing and sterilizing access matting using our wash plant.
  • Assist and operate centrifuge, shaker, and processing plant system.
  • Monitor and manage mud tanks, including solids control, fluid levels, submersible pumps.
  • Operate and monitor generators.
  • Monitor fuel levels.
  • Utilization of pressure washer and wand system.
  • Ability or desire to learn to operate loader
  • Carry out general day-to-day labour duties at the wash plant
  • Assist in tear down, moving, and set up of wash plant.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in the field as required.
  • Assist in completion of proper daily paperwork, including (but not limited to) Field Level Hazard Assessments
  • Maintain valid safety tickets
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Support equipment maintenance.
Qualifications and Education: · Safety tickets an asset (Standard First Aid, CSTS)· Previous labourer experience is an asset· Valid Driver’s license.· Reliable vehicle to get to our location in Nisku.· Power Engineer or Boiler Ticket is considered an asset but not required.Experience: · Experience operating a centrifuge is considered an asset.· Experience operating a boiler is considered an asset.· Experience working with mud tanks is considered an asset.· Wash plant experience is considered an assetContact Info: Feel free to send us your resume to alex at easyemats.ca, If we select your resume, we’ll be in touch to schedule an interview.
