Job Description

Brock Canada is looking for a motivated, dedicated, and energetic individual to join the Human Resource team. This is an opportunity for an entry level person to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the Human Resource field. This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team as well as recruit for trades based positions.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: :

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, or studying towards a degree in human resources or related field
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills required of a professional.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other operating groups
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, HRIS)
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and effectively meet deadlines
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: :
  • Organize and maintain employee files and documentation
  • Assign orientation to craft employees
  • Post adverts on Job Boards
  • Prepare employee letters
  • Recruit for a variety of trades and worksites
  • Assist HR team in employee onboarding process
  • Perform other duties as assigned
