CASL’s unique combination of design collaboration, technical capability and vertically integrated, quick response manufacturing helps minimize owning and operating costs to get more performance out of your high value component parts.The opportunity: The Inspector is responsible for executing inspection activities for the Nisku manufacturing facility. This involves receiving, in process and final dimensional/visual inspections of hydraulic cylinder and DHT components.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Verify incoming materials, in-process production and finished product against requirements using various measuring tools, standards, and procedures· Train other technical staff on documentation and measuring/reading equipment as required.· Document inspection results and produce Letter of Compliance certificates.· Calibration of mechanical tools such as outside and inside micrometers ranging in size from 0”-36”· Identify, control and document non-conformances. Assist in resolution verification as requested· Work closely with the production team to meet schedule requirements and minimize potential impacts due to failures.· Provide input on continuous improvement of the QMS and play an active role in the development of the areas for improvement· Exposure to and job training in the disassembly mechanic production cellOther requirements are: · Applicants with technical training or post-secondary courses preferred.· 2-5 years experience in mechanical inspections using inside and outside micrometers, bore gauges, and surface roughness gauges. Measuring to +/-0.0005”.· Hydraulic components (mining, construction, other) experience considered an asset· Able to lift 50 lbs.· Available to work occasional overtime and day or night shift as required.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
