Position Summary:Citadel is currently performing drilling operations in the Permian basin and is looking to add qualified Motorhands to our team. The primary duties of the Motorhand are to ensure that all equipment is operating and functioning correctly. Additionally, Motorhands are required to complete minor repairs on equipment as directed. Other duties include servicing rig components and equipment, including the draworks, top drive, auto-wrench, and hydraulic pipe handling system. Rig crews work a 20/10 rotation. Single room accommodations are provided on location, with per diem paid bi-weekly. PPE is provided. This includes coveralls, hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that all equipment is kept clean.Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment.Ensure that all log sheets and maintenance records are filled out correctly and are up to date on the required equipment.Ensure 30-day inspections of all Safety Equipment are carried out and documented in the tablet.Inspect main engines every tour for proper working order:Check oil level.Check coolant.Check for oil leaks.Check all gauges.Check for noise and vibrations.Change the oil as required.Inspect air compressors and compressed air systems daily for proper working order.Check air compressor crank oil level.Drain condensate from the air receiver.Ensure pressure is within standard operating requirements (rig specific)Visually check electrical generating equipment daily. Inform the Driller and Rig Manager of any abnormalities. (DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS BEFORE CONSULTING THE DRILLER AND RIG MANAGER. ALL MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.)Inspect BOP accumulator unit each tour for proper working order.Check the air filter.Check oil level in air line lubricator.Check pump packing.Check oil level in chain drive.Check hydraulic oil level.Check for proper pressure available to hydraulic pipe ram, blind ram and HCR valve.Inspect engine cold-start air compressor engine daily for proper working order.Check fuel supply.Check oil supply.Check oil pressure (when running)Inspect central engine radiators daily.Clean radiator fins if required.Grease pumps.Check pump packing.Check coolant and flow.Inspect AC generator daily for proper working order.Check for unusual noise, vibration and signs of excessive wear, paying particular attention to the bearing area.Check Preventative Maintenance for all other requirements.Check all AC motors daily for proper working order.Check that all the associated control equipment and all panel indication bulbs are operational. Repair or replace as required.Check engine for unusual noise or vibration.Keep motors as clean as possible.Frequent inspection of central Water Circulation around the rig.Check packing for leaksGrease bearings.Check for noise or excessive vibration.Inspect rig lighting daily. Replace bulbs as required.Inform Rig Manager or Driller of bad wiring or plugsInspect block and hook for proper working order daily.Check oil.Grease block.Grease swivel bearing at the bottom of the hook.Observe hook spring action.Ensure the Floorhands have performed preventative maintenance on:Pipe SpinnerDrawworksWire Line UnitOther Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrate safety leadership through the application of safe work practices;Comply with Citadel’s QHSE safety standards as outlined in Citadel’s QHSE manual;Active participation in weekly safety meetings, rig inspections, and hazard I.D. programs;Report all incidents and learning opportunities (near misses) to the Driller or Rig Manager;Ensure the performance of duties reflects and supports Citadel’s PAC²T values;Perform other duties as required.Qualifications and Abilities:Minimum of two (2) years experience working on an AC Triple drilling rig;Possess a strong mechanical aptitude;Excellent communicator with demonstrated experience working effectively in a team setting;Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment;Work outdoors and in various weather conditions;Able to meet drug and alcohol test requirements and fitness to work;Work locations are remote, so must have reliable transportation to and from location;Possess a valid H2S certificate and obtain other required certifications;References required.Jfz7YaXGrxQuick Apply
