DescriptionJob Summary:This role will give you the platform to develop a rewarding career with Ledcor Pipeline’s Equipment department. You will play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance to the National Safety Code. You will have experience coordinating record management systems and compliance programs for National Safety Code (NSC) Fleet and Drivers. Key responsibilities of this role will include training, auditing driver logs and maintaining driver and unit files to NSC standards. This role will be offered as an Edmonton or site-based position.Apply today to join our Pipeline team!Responsibilities:Update and maintain a variety of reports and tracking spreadsheets including updating certifications and compliance.Coordinate driver training and orientation programs for new drivers; coordinate driver training and periodic retraining of all driversMaintain, audit and update records relating to driver logs, trip inspections, maintenance records and other supporting documentationConduct audits of records to satisfy the requirements of regulatory authoritiesAssists with maintenance scheduling and maintains all equipment files.Update certifications and compliance recordsDeliver training and provide subject matter expert guidance on ELD (Electronic Driver Log), DOT and National Safety CodeRequirements:3+ years of experience in a similar role will be required.Demonstrated subject matter expert level of understanding of ELD’s, NSC and DOT regulations is preferredPrevious experience delivering training to drivers on ELD’s, NSC and DOT regulations will be highly regardedStrong computer skills, including MS Excel, and ability to quickly learn new software is essentialPrior experience construction industry experience ideally in the Pipeline Construction market will be highly regardedExcellent interpersonal skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skillsWork ConditionsEdmonton positionSite travel required up to 75%Option to be based onsite in Valemount or Kitimat, BCAdditional Information:Company DescriptionThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
