Job Description

Brandt is a diverse manufacturing and distribution company that makes equipment for farmers, contractors, landscapers, loggers, manufacturers, miners, pipeliners, railways, roadbuilders, steelmakers and beyond. As part of our commitment to making our customers more productive and more profitable, we’re investing heavily in new product development. That commitment includes new facilities, including our multi-million dollar engineering center in Regina, Saskatchewan, new equipment, software, training and hiring great people that will help Brandt deliver value to its customer base.We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this role will lead our go-to-market efforts for our Heavy Haul Trailers, Utility Trailers, and Truck-mounted products.You’ll own the unique value proposition of the product, market segmentation, and product positioning. But ultimately, you’ll be the voice of the customer. You are obsessed with delivering the right message to the right customer at the right moment. You are someone who loves to solve problems and help people discover products that will make their work and lives better.You will work closely with our Product Planning and Engineering teams to build a differentiated and compelling product offering that solves critical pain points for our customers. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of both our dealer sales channel and the farm customer and using those insights to communicate the value and benefits of Brandt Transportation Products. You’ll work with the sales, digital and marketing teams to build the right experiences for communicating to different segments of customers.Responsibilities:

  • Develop product messaging and positioning documents that serve as the keystone for internal and external sales assets, marketing campaigns, web copy, creative briefs, and presentations.
  • Serve as the product champion and thought partner to the account management, creative services, digital and multimedia teams in the development and execution of marketing materials that align with and support business strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to guide and develop the ideal content and positioning for campaigns. Ensure product narratives resonate with our customer and speak to their challenges and pain points.
  • Enable our Sales team to position products in the market through training materials that solidify our value proposition.
  • Report to senior leadership, business unit leaders, sales and other stakeholders on marketing opportunities and performance.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to better understand customer behaviors, market insights, and competitive intelligence to unlock insights and help grow the business and translating their needs into opportunities for product strategy.
  • Identify market opportunities and act as the primary thought-leader for the products you support, including presenting to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
Required Skills
  • Ability to distill complex business and product strategies to clear marketing strategy and compelling messaging.
  • The ability to execute complex, quantitative analysis and collaborate in the development of creative brand and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to influence and work cross-functionally to drive major initiatives and decisions.
  • Bias for action, ability to adapt, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 3+ years in a Marketing, product development, or account management role.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for understanding and solving customer problems.
