CASL’s unique combination of design collaboration, technical capability and vertically integrated, quick response manufacturing helps minimize owning and operating costs to get more performance out of your high value component parts.Overall ResponsibilityThe Production Expeditor is responsible for monitoring production activities for the CASL Nisku facility. This role requires working closely with shop floor staff and the Production, Technical, and Customer Service Teams in order to execute on time deliveries to customers.Specific Responsibilities· Contribute to CASL’s safety culture by participating in Company Safety program; Work in a safe manner at all times and take responsibility for him/herself and others· Develop trust and rapport with shop level staff· Monitor production progress as defined by the production schedule. Proactively communicate risks to the production schedule and recommend opportunities to expedite as required· Collaborate with Customer Service and Technical teams to ensure shop level staff have all required information to effectively complete jobs in a timely fashion· Complete weekly reports for the Production Team as requiredQualifications· Minimum 5 years of production and/or scheduling experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing production environment· Minimum grade 12 education· Competent using computer software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook· Strong customer focus; driven to produce results· Strong organizational and time management skills· Understanding of CASL coatings and salvage processes preferred· Demonstrated ability to absorb new knowledge and incorporate into work execution· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with employees at all levels within an organizationWork Environment· Based in CASL’s Nisku facility· Balanced mix of office and shop floorReports Guidelines1.
