The quotation specialist will also handle a variety of tasks from time to time, such as reporting and forecasting, quality management, contract review, and customer consultation.

• Be willing to learn and apply knowledge of SAP on quoting parts and services with regards to medium voltage (MV) variable frequency drives and motors for various applications.
• Possess the ability to work well with customers, sales representatives, account managers, service technicians and our vendors to convey the expectations into the quotes.
• Prepare multiple quotations simultaneously, accurately, and on time.
• Handle orders for parts from the quoting stage through the invoicing stage.
• Provide support for the service team in terms of quality management, warranty claims, documentation control, and routing of technical inquiries.
• Strive for continuous improvement to surpass the expectations of the customers and of the team.

What will you need to succeed

• Bachelors or diploma or related experience
• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, and other applications or computerized maintenance management systems or ERP/CMMS, eg. SAP, Oracle, Maximo, GSP are considered an asset
• Experience with and working knowledge of Medium Voltage industrial Variable Frequency Drive & associated Electrical systems is preferred - Siemens Drives experience is an asset
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and understanding and influencing people are important requirements in the job
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, schematic design specification and update drawings for referencing part numbers would be a strong asset
• Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with a large national or global manufacturing company
