Job Description

Recruitment and Training Coordinator, Field ServicesThe OpportunityStampede Drilling is looking for an experienced Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join our Field HR team at our operations office in Nisku Alberta. The Management team recognizes that it is the skill and dedication of our employees that drive our value and reputation.The RoleAs the Recruitment and Training Coordinator you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and on-boarding of rig-based employees, while managing the regulatory training requirements for new and existing employees.Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sort and screen resumes, and arrange and conduct interviews with potential candidates for employment, ensuring they are qualified and meet mandatory requirements
  • Coordination and scheduling of all field staff regulatory training
  • Process new hires and rehires following Company hiring policies, include booking pre-employment testing, collecting and distributing new hire paperwork and employee onboarding
  • Ensure the complete and accurate maintenance of employee information in ADP;
  • Working closely with HR Coordinator to staff rigs with qualified candidates based on best fit for position, rig style and work location
  • Act as a point-of-contact for candidates, maintaining candidate pool where possible
  • Administrative duties as required
Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements
  • 1-3 years of front-line recruitment / coordination experience;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment’
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting or independently as required
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prior experience with ADP is considered an asset but not a requirement
  • On-call rotation will be required
