Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Service Technicians/Boiler Technicians to provide boiler repair services within the Service Department. The successful candidates will not only be knowledgeable about boilers we sell and repair, but also provide leading customer support and quality service.PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Class A ticket is preferred
  • Familiarity with fuel fired boilers and all related controls an asset
  • Availability for on call schedule
  • Ability to physically lift a minimum of 35 pounds without restrictions
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
  • Some out of town work may be required
The ideal candidate will be able to perform strongly in the following areas:
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment such as burners on steam and hot water boilers
  • Provide preventative maintenance of company and customer equipment
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Maintaining mobile inventory of service truck
  • Use electronic time-sheet portal
  • Ensure availability while on call as scheduled
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Remain current with federal, provincial and local codes and regulations
  • In shop service as required
