Job Description

Who we are: CASL’s purpose is to continuously improve the performance of high value, mission critical parts through the application of wear resistant metallic or ceramic alloy coatings. How do we do that We collaborate to determine your desired component performance and assess the operating environment, from there selecting the alloy, preparation process, application technology and finishing operation needed to achieve the expected result. Once we’ve defined the outcome, our focus shifts to getting your critical parts back on time and per specification. CASL’s unique combination of design collaboration, technical capability and vertically integrated, quick response manufacturing helps minimize owning and operating costs to get more performance out of your high value component parts.The opportunity: The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments. This position will be expected to load and unload shipments using the proper material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, etc. The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for their safety and the safety of others at all times.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Prepare receiving/shipping paperwork for all inbound and outbound shipments· Prepare materials for shipment· Attention to detail· Operate a forklift is a safe manner to move product· Schedule shipments upon approval to ship· Maintain a clean and safe work environment· Inspect inbound product as required· Lifting/carrying product in a safe manner. Must be able to lift weights up to 50 lbs.Other requirements are: · Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or receiving inspection role preferred.· Basic computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred· Strong attention to detail and organization· Mechanical Aptitude.· Desire to foster a safety conscious environment and ability to read and adhere to all safety policies· Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive team working environmental· Strong organizational and communication skills· Ability to work under pressure· Ability to stand for long periods of timeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:
