Apply at: www.CathedralEnergyServices.comSHIPPER/RECEIVER - NISKU, ABThe ideal candidate will handle, move, load and unload materials at our Nisku facility. This role is essential to our organization and plays a significant part in meeting obligations to our clients by ensuring efficient shipping/receiving of downhole tool equipment.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loading and unloading, relocating parts, tools and equipment through the most efficient and safe work practices
  • Verifying shipping/receiving documents to ensure accuracy and completeness (invoices, packing slips, manifests, etc.)
  • Labelling, counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking materials
  • Identifying components of downhole drilling tools and fulfilling tool lists and shipping manifests
  • Matching tool connections to ensure right thread and all parts match requisition details
  • Cleaning components of downhole drilling tools and equipment using a pressure washer, power wire brushes and angle grinders, etc. may be required to assist the downhole tool mechanics
  • May assist with pick-up/delivery of local parts, using a light-duty truck
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the shop and yard area
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous experience in shipping/receiving, counting and accurately tracking inventory and products
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in keeping equipment, tools and inventory organized, efficient and stored safely
  • Must be mechanically inclined and enjoy working with power tools and performing basic maintenance activities
  • Ability to follow safe work practices, standard operating procedures and policies
  • A valid class 5 Driver’s License and good driving record is preferred
  • Experience operating a forklift, overhead cranes and precision instruments is preferred
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in a safety sensitive environment and comply with pre-access and site specific health and safety requirements including; Fitness testing and Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Display a strong work ethic and reliability
  • Live within close proximity to Nisku, AB and be ready and available to work extra hours as needed to get equipment mobilized and ready for projects requiring such urgency
