Job Description

Main Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the shop and yard area is clean and orderly as well as identifying and removing tripping and/or safety hazards
  • Assist the mechanic as directed in general equipment maintenance and inspections
  • Assist with inventory counts when required
  • Assisting with parts including inventorying, parts running and organization
Skills & Abilities
  • Manual dexterity and great attention to detail
  • Communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Documentation and inventory skills
Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of relevant experience would be an asset
  • Transportation and logistics experience preferred
  • Ability to follow established procedures and practices
  • First Aid certification is require
  • Valid class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must reside in Edmonton or surrounding area.
