Job descriptionSteam Truck Operator and Disamantler – Excellent Pay, Great Learning Opportunities & Variety of Work. Looking for a new opportunity that provides a unique experience working with Heavy Equipment S&S Equipment is a one of a kind company that disassembles equipment like Rock Trucks, Cranes, Excavators and more to ship across the country and around the world.THE COMPANY: S&S Equipment is an Edmonton AB based company with 30 years of experience moving heavy duty equipment.

THE POSITION: As a Mechanical assistant with S&S Equipment you will be responsible for assisting in the disassembly and washing of equipment for shipment overseas. As well as the loading of equipment into containers and lashing down for overseas shipment. You will work as part of the team to ensure safety is top priority while working with various tools and equipment to get the job done.YOUR EXPERIENCE You are the perfect fit for S&S Equipment if You:
  • have at least 12 months experience in an outdoor mechanical operations position.
  • have good awareness of the work going on around you and the ability to utilize the tools available to get the job done.
  • Have a class 3 licence with air
  • Have experience with Hot Water Pressure Washers and their maintenance.
  • Are committed to the health, safety and well being of yourself and others around you.
  • You are a self-starter, eager to take initiative and anticipate needs.
  • You have a natural sense of urgency. When things arise, you’re the first to tackle them.
  • You can demonstrate superb attention to detail and have strong English skills.
