Once we’ve defined the outcome, our focus shifts to getting your critical parts back on time and per specification. CASL’s unique combination of design collaboration, technical capability and vertically integrated, quick response manufacturing helps minimize owning and operating costs to get more performance out of your high value component parts.Overall ResponsibilityThe Technical Coordinator is responsible for supporting CASL’s Nisku operations by maintaining, revising, and generating new technical documentation. This role requires close collaboration with CASL’s Production, Technical, and Customer Service teams and involves combining practical and theoretical knowledge and information.Specific Responsibilities· Contribute to CASL’s safety culture by participating in Company Safety program; Work in a safe manner at all times and take responsibility for him/herself and others· Update, revise, and create new CASL repair specifications, drawings, and instructions· Support day-to-day Inspect-to-Quote process to ensure correct and accurate information is provided to Customer Service and Production teams in a timely manner· Execute new process and procedure roll-outs, along with other team members, as required· Data analysis and reporting to support management decision makingQualifications· Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent education· Working knowledge (experience preferred) of machining and hydraulics· Competent using Solid Edge or equivalent drafting software· Competent using computer software including MS Word, Excel, Outlook· Strong customer focus; driven to produce results· Strong organizational and time management skills· Understanding of CASL coatings and salvage processes considered an asset· Demonstrated skills using measuring (to 0.0005†and surface finish equipment)· Demonstrated ability to absorb new knowledge and incorporate into work execution· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with employees at all levels within an organizationWork Environment· Based in CASL’s Nisku facility· Balanced mix of office and shop floorReports Guidelines1.
