Job Description

Position Overview and ResponsibilitiesTool Technician / Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of BarrelEye’s Tools within the Facility. The Tool Technician / Coordinator will maintain and fix any issues with our inventory of agitation tools and will update our Operations Manager with what tools are available for use in the field.Responsibilities

  • Perform breakdown and maintenance of BarrelEye’s full inventory of Downhole tools.
  • Coordinate with Sales Manager and Operations Manager on timing for tools and jobs
  • Coordinate tools/trucking to jobs
  • Check on tool status / job performance / tool utilization on jobs
  • Discuss issues with Vendors/Suppliers and report findings to Operations Manager
  • Assist on the compilation of any failure reports
  • Servicing and inventory of tools and equipment
  • Testing failed components from the field
  • After hours on call for shop
  • Other duties as required to maintain the shop and ensure we are providing top-notch customer service to our clients.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per yearBenefits:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Oilfield: 1 year (preferred)
