Job Description

Title: Training and Development ManagerLocation: Nisku, AB*About UsForce is a rapidly growing leader in tubular inspection and repair whose success is founded on its uncompromising personal commitment to customer satisfaction in the delivery of quality solutions.About the PositionReporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Training and Development Manager is responsible for overall design, delivery and strategic planning of all employee learning and development programs. This position works closely with management, safety and human resources to identify training requirements, capture and preserve knowledge, and develop plans for training new and existing employees.Your Duties

  • Develop training curriculums in the areas of HSE, Quality, Compliance, Leadership, Change Management, etc.
  • Develop, update and execute training policies which ensure an effective training program.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and make sound and justifiable decisions.
  • Apply Adult Learning Methodologies which support the design of a comprehensive learning curriculum.
  • Develop and implement evaluations, measurements, and assessments based on learning and performance objectives for all programs.
  • Develop an annual strategic training and development plan, reporting upon actual vs. planned performance.
  • Work with department leaders and subject matter experts to develop and maintain a comprehensive library of work instructions and competency assessments.
  • Conduct presentations and training workshops, as required.
  • Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Adult Education, or Organizational Development required.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of work experience in the Human Resources field, with a focus on training and development required. Experience in a leadership role an asset.
  • CPT Designation or CPHR Designation preferred.
  • Must demonstrate a working knowledge of Adult learning Principles.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
