COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.We have recently entered the pilings business, providing a full range of services including the engineering, fabrication, and installation of screw piles. Alberta Screw Piles Ltd., a company of Primoris, is an innovative screw pile company that manufactures and installs screw piles for construction projects.SUMMARYThe Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the management of the tool crib and supplies for all projects.Start Date: ASAPLocation: Nisku, ABHourly Rate: $28.00 - $34.00JOB DUTIES

  • Ship and receive materials
  • Tracking of all pipe and plate in the yard, including inventory
  • Organize materials and tools for the worksite and shop
  • Maintain cleanliness in the shop and tool crib
  • Present missing/overdue tool reports to supervision
  • Maintain tools within the tool crib
  • Create requisitions for replenishing low stock
  • Mark new tool with marking tool
  • Ensure equipment and small tools are maintained and visual and annual inspections are done as required
  • Keep proper/updated certifications on all tools and MSDS sheets for consumables
  • Keep proper/updated MTR’s and ITR’s for materials received and shipped
  • Act as an in-town runner
  • Perform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting in tool crib
  • Ensure cycle counts are accomplished daily, including maintaining stock records electronically
  • Various shop cleaning duties will be required
  • Various other duties as requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
  • WHMIS
  • Experience operating forklift/loader is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of welding materials and tools and their proper handling, storage, and preparation for work sites
  • Good knowledge of basic tool maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined)
  • Experience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferred
  • Computer knowledge and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Positive attitude and compliance towards safety
