Job Description

Steel River Equipment has an exciting opportunity for a Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Nisku, Alberta.Key Job Duties:

  • Wash and clean various trucks, equipment, and trailers.
  • Ensure the wash bay is clean and organized.
  • Operate equipment and vehicles to and from wash bay area.
  • Assist in the cleaning of shop work areas.
  • Remove all garbage to appropriate waste bins.
  • Assist in yard cleanup and snow removal.
  • Pick up and deliver parts as needed.
  • Complete digital work orders.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow appropriate procedures.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience in and around wash bays and shop environments would be considered an asset.
  • Valid Driver’s license; Class 5 required, Class 3 an asset.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Able to stand, climb, crouch and kneel for long periods.
  • Physically able to handle and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to follow directions to meet the demands of the workplace.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organization, time-management, and multi-tasking skills are required.
  • Optimistic/collaborative approach and attitude towards work.
  • High degree of initiative and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Shop based position.
