Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY Set-up Personnel are responsible for working on all aspects of preparing for special events and meetings by appropriately arranging furniture, staging, tables, etc.Primary Tasks:

  • Work to ensure event/room set-ups are completed accurately, safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect the facility and report any maintenance or housekeeping concerns.
  • Post directional signs to the Event locations as needed and assigned by Events Team Leader.
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings, workshops and training sessions.
  • Represent values of the Niverville Heritage Centre to clients, residents, clients, customers and visitors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Walks and stands during entire shift.
  • Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping.
Knowledge, Skills & Certifications: 1. Excellent listening, communication skills.2. Ability to take instructions, work at a quick pace while following through with accurate delivery of requests.3. Carry out duties in a friendly, professional manner; working and cooperating with others as team member.4. Knowledge and complies with workplace safety procedures.5. Have taken WHMIS course(s).Job Type: Part-timeSchedule:
