Programs run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the school year for youth ages 6-12.Programmer responsibilities include:Day-to-day operation of Centre – report writing, program scheduling and paperworkSupervision of program participants ages 7-12General program coordination of physical activities, healthy food choices and nutrition, health and wellness activities, homework assistance, and arts & craftsCleaning/sanitizing surfaces/equipmentQualifications:Must hold a current First Aid and CPR CertificateSatisfactory Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check) dated within the last 3 months (or willing to obtain)Minimum of Grade 12 EducationDisplay leadership and supervisory skillsPreference given to bilingual candidates and those currently enrolled or Degree in Rec/Physical Ed, Concurrent EdHours of Work: up to 3-9 hours a week depending on availabilityQualified applicants are invited to submit a detailed resume and cover letter no later than 4:30 p.m. Monday September 13th, 2021 to:Email: staffing@northbay.caWhile we appreciate the interest of all applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contactedAccommodation will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required under the City of North Bay’s Accessibility Policy.
