We aim for excellence.Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Torch Cutter with experience for our North Bay location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

  • Cut oversized iron and metal using torching equipment
  • Receive, sort and organize different types of metals
  • Working inside our warehouse and in our outdoor yard
  • Operating a tow motor and or forklift on occasion to tip or dump bins
  • Cleaning your work area at the end of your shift
  • Other general labour/manual duties will apply
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow all procedures and guidelines for Health and Safety protocols
  • Control torch and/or welding equipment;
  • Enjoy to work outside;
  • Enjoy routine;
  • Good physical shape;
  • Responsible;
  • Ability to work safely;
  • Knowledge of steel (an asset);
  • Excellent attendance and safety record.
Additional Information
  • Day Shift, Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays);
  • Permanent full time, 44 hours per week;
  • Availability for overtime hours
  • Dynamic team and friendly atmosphere;
  • Group Insurance after 3 months of employment;
  • RRSP with employer contribution after 6 months of employment;
