Job Description

We are seeking a full-time (permanent) Human Resources Officer for our Head Office location in North Vancouver (810 West 1st Street) as soon as possible. Craftsman Collision is the largest independently owned and operated auto body repair chain in Canada – but we’re also a family that cares about the people we work with. Requirements
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a HR role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with HRIS systems is an asset
  • Proficiency in the English language
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as required
