Certified Mechanical Insulator Leadership OpportunityNorth Vancouver, BC Full-time | Permanent Competitive hourly rate + benefits + leadership pathwayA growing mechanical contractor in North Vancouver is seeking a Certified Insulator to join their team and take on a leadership role. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced insulator who enjoys hands-on work and is ready to mentor and guide a crew of HVAC and plumbing technicians.The company works on a variety of commercial and residential mechanical projects, with a focus on high-quality work, safety, and team development.What Youll Be Doing:

  • Lead and support a team of HVAC and plumbing technicians on-site
  • Perform insulation work on piping and mechanical systems (hot water, chilled water, steam, ventilation systems, etc.)
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior crew members
  • Ensure work is completed to code and company quality standards
  • Help coordinate job sites, equipment, and material needs
  • Support project timelines and collaborate with project managers
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety and accountability
What You Bring:
  • Certified Mechanical Insulator (Red Seal preferred)
  • Strong field experience with mechanical insulation for plumbing/HVAC systems
  • Leadership or foreperson experience is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, job site coordination, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Valid driver #39;s license and reliable transportation
  • A desire to grow into a long-term leadership role within a supportive team
