Our company is a well-established, and reputable Mechanical and Electrical Construction and Engineering firm serving the industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) sector of the construction industry in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding areas for over 40 years.We have an opportunity for a seasoned Business Development Professional with experience in ICI Construction to establish themselves with a growing company offering the potential for future personal growth and leadership opportunities. Our company is undergoing rapid growth and we are seeking a self-driven, talented candidate who will report to the Company President and General Manager of Constructionamp; Engineering and has the knowledge, expertise and aspirations for advancement.Primary duties include identifying and evaluating business opportunities, risks, mitigation of risks and rewards in the HVAC/Plumbing ICI construction sector, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective clients, and working with company management to develop and execute on business strategy. Desired Skills and Experience:The candidate must be a capable and organized leader with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and communication skills are also required.

• Must have HVAC and plumbing industry experience in the ICI sector.
• Proven marketing and sales experience in growing business and developing key networks.
• Seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years #39; experience in business development and marketing.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in upper-level management in construction and contracting or related fields.
• MBA with a technical degree (engineering) an asset.
• Existing and relevant relationships within the construction industry and/or ICI sector.
• Proven ability to plan and manage resources.
• Ability to conceptualize systems for greater company efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, attention to detail and thoroughness in work performed.
• Post secondary Diploma in a Mechanical/HVAC discipline an asset.
