We are hiring an experienced Compliance Officer to help us keep growing.ReportingAs the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be reporting to the CEO and work closely with the director of OTC business.Responsibilities- Lead the opening of crypto-friendly bank accounts to help expand the company’s OTC business- Act as the main point of contact when dealing with banks and other financial entities, as well as the FINTRAC.- Mastermind compliance policies and protocols in the crypto industry- Remain up to date on Canadian laws related to cryptocurrencies and update the company’s policies accordingly- Create a compliance resource library as a guide for staff members, when neededQualifications- previous working experiences at an MSB is a must-have- 5+ years of previous experience in compliance roles- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices- Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both in speaking and in writing- Excellent public-facing communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written- Exceptional rapport-building skillsNice-to-Haves- Understanding of cryptocurrency and basic blockchain terminology- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is an asset.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, consulting, part-time*Salary commensurate with experienceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $80,000.00-$200,000.00 per yearBenefits:
