Job Description

The SMB Client Data Manager will manage the day to day operations for new account opening within Merchant Services to ensure execution meets defined standards across supported teams within the Boarding Operations. Role include ensuring compliance with both Policy/Procedure and Regulatory requirements along with collaborating with business partners to drive solutions to issues. The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize / manage time and a willingness to tackle new and difficult challenges. In addition, this candidate should have some level of understanding of banking/operations systems, and experience formulating strategies, and running a production group.Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of production teams responsible for perform quality reviews on accuracy of applications submitted into boarding systems
  • Enforce corporate policy/procedure requirements to ensure the business mitigats both procedure and regulatory risks
  • Maintain consistent quality and production monthly targets
  • Maintain ownership of procedure, job aids and related material
  • Remains knowledgeable of companys products to facilitate boarding
  • Build relationships with revenue procducing teams to communicate decisions and ensure timely and accurate reviews
  • Ability to multi-task and keep a strong attention to detail
Qualifications:
  • 5+years experience in Financial Services, or equivalent Operations environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to present findings independently in a concise manner and articulate reasoning clearly
  • Control focused to ensure output meets audit requirements
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking skills, solve problems creatively, plan and meet deadlines, as well as demonstrate strong sense of personal accountability
  • Experience demonstrating strategic leadership
