Job Description

Position Title: Customer Service and Sales Support RepresentativeLocation: North YorkReports To: Team Lead and Branch ManagerOverview:Primerica is a leading financial services company, providing individuals and families with a wide range of financial solutions. Our customer service and sales support team plays a key role in helping clients manage their financial goals, as well as supporting Primerica’s sales force with the tools and resources they need to succeed.The Customer Service and Sales Support Representative is responsible for providing outstanding service to both clients and Primerica agents, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting with a variety of administrative and customer-facing tasks.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to financial products, policy details, claims, and account management.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve complaints effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in Primerica’s database systems.
  • Follow up with clients as necessary to ensure complete satisfaction and retention.
Sales Support:
  • Support Primerica agents by providing necessary product information, sales tools, and other resources to help close sales and retain clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial plans, insurance quotes, and other documentation for clients.
  • Manage sales-related administrative tasks such as processing applications, updating customer records, and tracking leads.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for client meetings or presentations.
Product Knowledge and Training:
  • Stay current on Primerica’s products, services, and industry trends to offer accurate and helpful information to both customers and agents.
  • Participate in ongoing training to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Educate clients and agents on the features, benefits, and financial advantages of Primerica’s offerings, including life insurance, investment services, and debt management solutions.
Administrative Support:
  • Process routine paperwork such as applications, claims, policy changes, and other client-related forms.
  • Prepare and send out confirmation letters, contracts, and other documentation in a timely manner.
  • Track sales and service metrics to ensure targets are met and provide regular updates to the management team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Customer-Focused: Dedicated to providing superior customer service with a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Sales Support Experience: Previous experience in supporting sales teams or working in customer-facing roles.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and other digital tools to manage customer interactions and sales data.
  • Financial Knowledge: A basic understanding of financial products, such as insurance, investments, and loans, is beneficial (training will be provided).
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not mandatory, especially in finance, business, or related fields)
  • Prior Experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles (preferred)
