Job Description

Customer Service Manager, Toronto Region Wasteco is a Canadian company, led and operated by the same ownership since 1978. We are committed to providing solid waste management and recycling solutions for industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) customers across Southern Ontario. In 2014, we introduced our Wasteco National division, which offers coast-to-coast waste solutions for your operation.Our approach is flexible and customer-focused, from initial consultation through to state-of-the-art logistics, waste collection, sorting, recycling and materials recovery. You can count on Wasteco for experience, value and expertise.We have an immediate opening for a Customer Service Manager at our Toronto Region office just minutes from the Yorkdale subway station located at 161 Bridgeland Avenue, TorontoAs the Customer Service Manager, you are often the first point of contact for our many valued customers. Your success will be about how well you communicate, manage your time, and your commitment to providing best in industry customer service.Key tasks:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for all internal and external customers.
  • Understand customer account activity and look for opportunities for service improvements.
  • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of all customer documentation.
  • Works closely with Finance to resolve customer account information concerns.
  • Works closely with Operations management to partner customer solutions.
  • Works closely with Sales management to partner customer solutions.
  • Demonstrates timely professional customer service.
  • Communicate with and support your team to meet performance expectations.
  • Understand customer service requirements by maintaining regular contact with customers and benchmarking industry best practices.
  • Improve customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results; recommending changes.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of customer service management experience
  • Waste and/or Recycling or related industry experience
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong team building skills
  • TRUX experience
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to $70,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
