For more information visit: www.apotex.com.Job SummaryAs part of the Enterprise Data Office team, the Data Management Tools lead is responsible for the front-end administration of the Informatica suite of data governance tools (Axon, EDC, IDQ, MDM). This role will be a significant contrinutor to the full implementation of Apotex’s data governance practice within the Informatica tools, and will drive the continuous support going forward. In close collaboration with business area SME’s and working closely with the EDO Leads, this role will be the connection between business and technology playing a significant role in the contuous success of the Enterprise Data Program and the enablement of supporting technology.Job ResponsibilitiesExecute standard onboarding of technical and business metadata into the Informatica EDC and Axon environments, ensuring the population of data lineage and linkage between the technical and business metadata.Works closely with Metadata and Master Data Leads in the development and implementation of enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure quality metadata and support for ongoing data governance.Support the technical team in enabling the SSL for informatica domain and enabling secured protocol for the console URL’s and secured domain, creating KeyStore, trust store file sand exporting signed certificates.Responsible for the administration of Informatica EDC/Axon tools and in future other data governance-related products (Data Quality) and provide business continuity support.Drive discussions with data stakeholders on data governance processes and translate those requirements into Axon workflows.Participate in Metadata Management scrum team to partner in work efforts, provide data management experience, including an understanding of concepts, practices, procedures, and tools providing strong analytical, innovative, and creative problem-solving.Partner with EDO Leads in driving training sessions for business and technology partners covering enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes.Support the technical team in performing EDC Admin tasks such as configurations to interpret OOTB domains, resized EDC architecture, upgraded EDC, and create connections between EDC and source systems.Support the technical team in performing admin tasks related to installation, configuration of cores and nodes, domain setup, configure services with repository/users, production deployment, deploying of multiple folders based on migration sheets and special instructions, as well as migrating scripts, files and param file.Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.Demonstrate Behaviours that exhibit our organizational Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.All other relevant duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducationPost-secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fieldKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesA track record of working collaboratively with others across the organizationExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExperienceMinimum of 5+ years of enterprise data integration and management experience working with Datawarehouse technologies and data governance solutions.Must have 5+ years of hands-on Informatica Data Governance (Axon), EDC, Data Quality, including executing at least 2 large Data Governance, Quality projects from inception to production, working as a technology expert.Must have 5+ years of the hands-on working with Informatica’s Data Governance, Data Catalog and Data Quality productMust have 5+ years of practical experience configuring EDC and Axon, including business glossaries, dashboards, policies, search, Axon maps.Experience in data quality tools, including data profiling, cleansing and identity resolution.Involvement in supporting the technical team with respect to Unix/Linux system administration and troubleshooting.Experience supporting the technical team in creating batch scripts to automate the Informatica administration, schedules, and deployment activities.Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skillsAt Apotex, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible work environment, where all employees feel valued, respected and supported.Apotex offers accommodation for applicants with disabilities as part of its recruitment process.
