Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.Reporting to the Director, Security Programs, the role of the Security, Risk and Crisis Management (SRC) Delivery Office Project Coordinator (PCO) is to support the Delivery Office by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders, for the SRC Delivery Office and liaise with the Delivery Office personnel to ensure compliance with documented practices and processes. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the Delivery Office tools and standardized templates and will work with the Director of SRC Security Programs to ensure all enhancements / modifications to the Delivery Office practice are well documented and communicated to key stakeholders.The ideal candidate for this position is to have strong verbal and written abilities with excellent minute taking skills and attention to detail.The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter, confident and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.What will you do

  • Take minutes for key Security, Risk and Crisis Management Sessions, such as Security Council, Regional IT Monthly Updates and the Cyber Security Working Group sessions and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Support the Director of the SRC Delivery Office to ensure the business needs and outcomes of the Delivery Office practice are defined, documented, and satisfied through the ongoing maintenance of templates and processes.
  • Execute quality assurance validation of the SRC Delivery Office practice; from planning to delivery, confirming adherence to the Delivery Office documented practices, procedures, roles, responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the Business Office resources to maintain the Workplan and Intake activities
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Providing administrative support as needed
What do you need to succeed
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills including collaborating and team building
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking, time-management and ability to pivot from one task to another to adjust to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with quality assurance control

  • May be required to travel to our various work locations: Toronto Atria, Toronto One York, Waterloo King

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
