MARKETING ASSOCIATE (Production & Insight), The Successful Investor Inc.Are you looking to join a growing organization where you can flex your marketing muscle to help us tackle key business objectivesOur ideal candidate has a few years’ work experience after College/University and is ready for the next level. You enjoy working on executing marketing tasks in a fast-paced environment and contributing toward business decisions.We are an established wealth management and investment publishing firm with 25+ years’ experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management with assets under management verging on $1 billion and growing, currently looking to expand our team with energetic and data driven digital marketers.The Successful Investor is actively seeking a Marketing Associate who will assist the marketing team with customer acquisition campaigns and enhancing content for more impact. In addition to these production tasks, you will provide analysis and insight into key marketing programs. Your work will directly contribute toward the smooth execution of marketing initiatives and activities, as well as overall department productivity and success.Reporting to the Director of Marketing, we are looking for a candidate who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and a passion for using data to make every marketing effort better. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage your schedule effectively to meet deliverables on time. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company are important. You must be very efficient and highly attuned to the smallest of details, and your ability to multi-task and work on tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment is crucial. No task is too small and no challenge too great. A “can-do” attitude is essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Work diligently to help the company generate increased revenue through our marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the production of marketing materials.
  • Assist with the planning, development, and coordination of a wide range of marketing communications including email and our website.
  • Maintain, update, and organize content development and webpage updates.
  • Assist with performance reporting.
  • Support the marketing team in all its administrative duties.
  • Provide input and direction toward timelines and deliverables for marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors and suppliers to ensure successful execution for all marketing projects.
  • Manage and monitor performance of social media.
  • Assist with additional tasks and duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications, Experience & Skills):
  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
  • 2-3+ years’ experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience with email marketing/website production.
  • Experience with a CMS (WordPress preferred), Dreamweaver, Unbounce.
  • HTML – Moderate to high level of skill/experience (CSS preferred).
  • Design skill is an asset.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (some expertise in Excel is helpful).
  • Interested in/passionate about personal finance/investing.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic working environment.
  • Detail oriented, thorough and organized.
