Discover how you can make a difference in the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world.The Middleware Analyst will work as part of a team responsible for supporting highly available intranet/internet websites to ensure performance, availability and stability of the systems while maintaining a client focus. The incumbent will be required to perform web application support, builds (Weblogic, WebSphere, IIS, Apache, etc.) and analysis. The highly motivated candidate must work well within a dynamic, multi-site environment and have the ability to understand complex technical aspects of WEB Middleware technologies.Responsibilities include new builds, deploying, configuring, and tuning of Web applications on Windows WIN2K12/WIN2K16/WIN2K19 and Unix (AIX/Linux).What Will You Do

• Support Web Middleware Application infrastructure on Unix and Windows platforms
• Participate in weekly Change, Production On-call and Incident rotations in and outside of Business hours
• Participate in preparing, coordinating and scheduling web middleware upgrades and product deployments
• Provide Administration and Management of Web Hosting environments to ensure set performance levels are maintained
• Effective troubleshooting problems impacting a deployed hosting solution
• Engage vendor support, when applicable (open tickets, confirm supportability for new solutions)
• Create and maintain documentation in support of infrastructure on a daily basis
• Strive to achieve quality results and correct solutions
• Understand, execute and improve operational practices
• System capacity planning and maintenance is a key aspect of this role
• Develop automated solutions using in house tools (GIT, Ansible, CDD)
• Participate in escalation roles for on-call/maintenance windows
• New Infrastructure builds
• Deploying, configuring, and tuning of Web applications on various platform
• Mentoring colleagues

What Do You Need To Succeed

• University degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience, and/or 3+ years in IT industry experience
• One or more of the following:
• 2-3 years of Websphere Liberty
• 2-3 years of IIS, Apache/Tomcat/ColdFusion experience
• Powershell / Unix shell
• Minimum of 1-3 years of development experience using Java/J2EE/.NET
• Excellent UNIX (Solaris/AIX/Linux) experience
• Excellent Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 admin experience
• Perl, Jython/Python, ANT
• Excellent analytical skills and communication skills with the ability to ask probing questions to understand the various concepts presented/discussed
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
