Job Description

Part-time French Teacher/TutorJob SummaryAs a tutor and coach with Oxford Learning, you will be responsible to provide individualized academic support to students. You are joining a dynamic team who want you to make a different for each student who you have the opportunity of working with!What we need

  • Instruct students in-person and online as-needed. Teachers are provided with program planner and all materials for your teaching shifts. No lesson planning needed
  • Coach students to become more active, independent learners
  • Accurately provide reporting regarding students progress as required
  • Attend training workshops as needed
  • Complete administrative tasks when required
  • Tutoring is in-person at 3130 Bathurst Street.
What you need
  • Working towards a University Degree from a Canadian University (OCT Preferred)
  • Ability to teach up to Grade 8 Math
  • 2+ years experience with students in a teaching,tutoring, or training environment
  • Excellent English & French communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
  • Dynamic, passionate and energetic personality
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

The position will be 5-12 hours per week. We are looking for an individual who can work a minimum of 2-4 shifts per week within our hours of 3:30pm to 8:00pm Monday through Thursday, and Saturday morning.
