Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New ZealandThe details: Full time or near full timeWaikato Hospital (New Zealand) is a tertiary referral and teaching centre providing a wide range of plastic services including Head and neck ablative, reconstructive surgery, cleft palate and burns for the Midland Region (860,000 people). The department supports 5 regional secondary care and four satellite hospitals.The successful applicant will join a well-established and dynamic team of 8 SMO and three MOSS .We invite applications to the position of Specialist Plastic Surgeon at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton. The team of existing SMOs are looking to expand the department to fit with projected service requirements, and welcome applications from those eligible for vocational registration in the specialty. All sub-specialty interests will be considered. Desirable experience includes head & neck ablative & reconstructive surgery, plus applicants with an interest in leadership roles.
