Job Description

We are seeking a Shop Assistant to become an integral part of our team!This is a 3 month contract position with possibility to convert to a permanent position.Responsibilities:

  • Packaging candy platters and party favours, making chocolates (training will be provided, experience a plus)
  • Shop maintenance- cleaning the work area and restocking product on storage shelves
  • Warehouse inventory and organization
Qualifications:
  • Friendly, reliable, trustworthy & honest
  • Previous experience in working with sweets, a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, standing long periods of time
  • Commitment to quality and efficiency with positive work ethic
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the area
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Able to work independently & as part of a team
  • Basic math skills in order to keep count or tally of products produced.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with peers and management.
  • Follow all health and safety and regulatory guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 3 monthsSalary: $15.00-$17.00 per hourBenefits:
