Our strong leadership team of forward-thinking business people and dedicated hard-working employees continually put their focus and attention on the agent and their business.About the Role:As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, implementing and monitoring of the company’s social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, engagement and online presence. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Brokerage Operations team to ensure the strategy is consistent and effective at achieving the business objectives. This role is perfect for an ambitious, well-organized, detail-oriented person who lives and breathes social media and is ready to take on exciting new challenges.What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead the social media marketing strategy ensuring that it aligns with the overall marketing strategy to drive business growth, brand awareness, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with business subject matter experts, copywriters and designers to ensure the content (text, image and video) is compelling, brand-compliant, effective and consistent across all social media channels
  • Manage, oversee, and monitor all head office and branch social media channels and content
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments (some weekend monitoring required)
  • Keep up to date on the latest social media best practices and technology and apply as applicable
  • Educate and assist staff that are required to use social media in their roles on best practices
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and continually monitor and report on the success of every social media platform and campaign
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and oversee curation and creation of social media content including advertising campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Plan and manage social media ad spend
  • Assist MarCom with any other duties as assigned
What You Need
  • 3+ years in a Social Media Coordinator or Manager role
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of social media tools (i.e., SEMRush, HootSuite, Loomly) and best practices for the following platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media KPI’s
  • Strong copy writing, copy editing, and proofreading skills
  • Must be able to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Exceptional organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and balance a high volume of work;Deliver programs on a timely basis in a deadline-oriented environment
