We have 3 vacancies for this role.Hiring Manager is open to consider other Enbridge office locations within Ontario. Please mention your location preference in your application.What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with engineers and other SMEs to create and publish technical documentation to support the design, construction, and maintenance of natural gas assets.
  • Perform copy/edit and provide suggestions for improving structure, presentation, and delivery of content to end users to resolve information gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation targeting a wide range of audiences.
  • Ensure that engineering documentation and communications follow established writing rules, company standards, and legal requirements.
  • Provide suggestions for continuous improvement of existing department standards and processes.
  • Handle multiple streams of work and parallel deadlines.
Who You Are:You will have the following education and experience:
  • Related University degree or technical diploma with 2 to 4 years of experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of: related office software; company databases; company structure and standard operating procedures; and/or office communications technology.
  • Demonstrated professional experience and attention to detail for authoring technical documentation in DITA XML in a CCMS environment (Adobe Experience Manager preferred) for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Passion for upholding Enbridges core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Inclusion along with our ways of working.
Preferred skills:
  • Technical writing certification.
  • Management of documentation in SharePoint.
  • JIRA or ADO experience for project management.
