Job Description

Your opportunity:Agile Variable Resourcing team within BDO is looking for a Change Management Planning and Support for a public sector opportunity.The following provides an overview of the opportunity:Your Experience and Education:

  • Designated Change Manager has a minimum of 10 year’s progressive experience as a Change Management expert.
  • Designated Change Manager is certified as a Change Management Professional with a national or internationally recognized certification body or has at least fifteen (15) years progressive experience in the development and execution of successful change management initiatives.
  • The designated change manager should ideally have PMP designation and have undertaken the role of project manager in at least two similar projects OR have performed the role of ‘project manager’ in five projects similar in scope and nature within the last
  • five years.
  • Indicate the percentage of the project manager’s total time over the life of the project will be assigned to the project.
  • GNWT assumes that a day is 8 hours. (Proponents should advise if this is not the case).
Position responsibilities involved, but not limited to:There are several broad task areas where the Change Management will be called upon to provide the above services.They may include but are not limited to the following field of activities:
  • Provide technical expertise in developing the OCM Plan and other supporting documents as noted below.
  • Serve as facilitator in the various forums within which changes will be identified, documented, and subsequently communicated.
  • Provide project management (timetable) for Lands/ENR to ensure that the OCM project remains on track.
  • Produce all required OCM related documentation in an editable format for use by GNWT.
  • The successful Proponent will also need to develop an understanding of the proposed business processes associated with the implementation of the Public Land Act (PLA) in order to ensure that the culture change that is required for successful implementation of PLA is given due consideration in the development of the overall change management program.
  • Additional requirements that are specific to the PLA change management component are included as Appendix A of this document.
