We are well located near McGillivray and the Perimeter.Check us out at https://atpag.com/Position OverviewThe growth room research technician role will help you gain knowledge of plant care, hydroponics and developing new technologies. This position will focus on plant care but will also include other related tasks.Job Duties
  • Growth and care of broad acre crops in pots and hydroponics.
  • General maintenance and care of growth room and lab.
  • Testing of the current and future products of ATP Nutrition in the growth room
  • Prototyping in-field plant analytical tools
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or a degree in sciences or agriculture is preferred;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently;
  • Attention to detail;
  • High level of dependability;
  • Comfortable standing for long periods at a time, carrying heavy objects;
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • Experience or background in the agriculture industry would be an asset
