Job Description

ATP is a Canadian plant nutrition company with operations in Canada and the United States. We deliver a proactive, science-based approach to restore the balance between plant and soil health to deliver the genetic potential of broad acre crops and challenge the status quo, utilizing Agtech to monitor and drive farm productivity.ATP is seeking a part-time Human Resources Manager, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities for Human Resources Manager
  • Consistently recruiting excellent staff
  • Maintaining a smooth onboarding process
  • Developing and updating clear policies and ensuring policy awareness
  • Training, counseling, and coaching staff in human resources best practices
  • Leading the employee compensation benchmarking process
  • Managing the performance evaluation process and associated tools
  • Assisting in administration of sales and general employee annual incentive plans
  • Facilitating the employee succession planning process
  • Coordinating company payroll with external service provider for Canadian and US employees
  • Benefits administration, including onboarding, maintaining and offboarding of employees from the plan
  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties
  • Maintaining employee and workplace confidentiality
What the successful candidate will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience
  • CPHR designation would be an asset
  • Demonstrated judgment, tact, discretion and ability to handle matters of a sensitive and confidential nature
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 10 - 15 per weekSalary: $30.00-$40.00 per hourBenefits:
