Job Description

Teachers are responsible for teaching students how to swim using H2O Academy’s proprietary AQUA-Lit™ Curriculum ©. Duties include creating class lesson plans, conducting daily student evaluations, communicating with students and parents/guardians.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide competent and safe instruction using the AQUA-Lit™ Curriculum ©.
  • Evaluate students using the AQUA-Lit™ Curriculum ©.
  • Manage & organize class time effectively for maximum efficiency.
  • Set up and clean up equipment for classes.
  • Exercise effective communication and teamwork.
  • Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
  • Maintain the physical ability to be in the water for all classes you teach.
  • Promote good public relations by talking with parents before and after class and speaking positively about H2O outside of working hours.
  • Show up for shift on time.
  • Dress appropriately as per the Employee Handbook.
  • Discipline and resolve conflict as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 5-40 per weekSalary: $14.50-$22.50 per hourBenefits:
