Job SummaryTerraco is a locally owned independent retailer that has been serving Manitoba producers for over 80 years. With locations around Winnipeg, Terraco provides quality engineered Esso and Mobil lubricants, a wide range of granular and liquid fertilizers, seed and crop protection products.Responsibilities and Duties Terraco is looking for a Yard/Shop maintenance worker for the Terraco Oak Bluff site. The right person will be responsible for all maintenance within the site. We need an employee that is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of fertilizer and seed equipment including motorized equipment. Employee must also be willing to operate tandem trucks, loaders and forklifts when needed. We are looking for an individual with general mechanical knowledge trouble shooting skills and able to operate various equipment. An individual with agricultural background would be a great asset but not necessaryQualifications and SkillsQualifications: -Class 3 licence or willing to obtain one-Grade 12 education-Able to do all day to day maintenance and repairs and keep records-Able to do basic arithmetic-Trouble shooting skills-Willing to operate equipment (small loaders, forklifts) and tandem trucks when needed-Able to do general warehousing duties-Able to work extended/flexible hours during peak times in season-Able to work independently and in a team environment-Willing to work with agricultural fertilizers and chemicalsWages dependent upon experience that one brings to the table.
