Job Description

Job DescriptionWorking under the direction of the Senior Project Manager - ICT, this position will conduct project management activities including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing all elements of project implementation , as well as supporting implementation of all necessary processes and practices to ensure initiatives are delivered according to the required scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Participating and supporting working groups/committees to support project governance and the achievement of project deliverables and fostering successful change;
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, issues and solutions to stakeholders and escalating issues as appropriate;
  • Supporting interprofessional stakeholders through all phases of the project life cycle while simultaneously providing coaching, motivation and guidance throughout the duration of the project;
  • Working with interprofessional stakeholders to analyze projects for needs assessment, system selection and/or process reengineering (including process mapping), leveraging available technology as appropriate.
  • Creating and implementing change management, and project plans that maximize employee engagement, supporting smooth adoption of changes impacting employees and the organization;
  • Engaging and communicating with stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure changing resource and project requirements are met and understood.
  • Direct and guide more junior project staff who may be accountable for aspects of assigned projects.
