Along with supporting our distributors, this position will also service a Direct Store Delivery customer base within the British Columbia Okanagan market. The Sales Representative will manage customer relationships and their profitability, the products that are distributed within this territory, as well as create business plans that meet the agreed Saputo Dairy Products Division contribution levels.The candidate will show leadership and initiative, will demonstrate entrepreneurial flare and will have creativity and self-motivation. Must be able to work independently and must have the capacity to multitask. Furthermore, he/she must be able to bring projects to full completion without close supervision. Consideration will be given to candidates who have demonstrated high potential for future roles and higher level of responsibility within the company.Work location: Okanagan (preferably Kelowna) Home officeHow you will make contributions that matter:

• Achieve the gross margin and volume targets as assigned to your territory;
• Develop and grow the Saputo Book of Business through new business acquisition;
• Support distributors sales team;
• Collaborate with various functions within Saputo such as Sales, Finance, & Distribution to maximize customer opportunities;
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the local market and community;
• Initiate and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement & growth throughout the geographical market area;
• Maintain a high level of competitor knowledge in terms of products, pricing, discounts, promotions and sales;
• Develop territory growth plans and execute these plans through the course of the year;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in foodservice;
• Post-secondary education in business or a minimum of two years of sales experience preferably in foodservice;
• Proficient computer skills;
• Career-oriented, self-motivated with leadership qualities. A team minded contributor;
• Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities;
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills;
• Dependability and proficiency in current position.
